Cooler Temperatures Lead To Warm-Up At Weeks' End
Monday, May 11, 2020

A cold front that swept across the region Sunday afternoon will leave much of the tri-state area with cooler temperatures for much of the day today, and through the early part of the work week. However, warmer temperatures are expected to be heading into the area by weeks' end.

According to the National Weather Service, conditions for Monday will be dryer but will remain cool for this time of year with highs only reaching into the mid to high 40s. A Frost advisory remains in effect for Monday night and early Tuesday morning with lows dipping down to around the freezing mark before a slight warm-up and mostly sunny skies become prevalent that afternoon.

The sunshine will remain for Wednesday with another slight warm-up expected with temperatures reaching into the 60s, before an even more significant warm-up occurs on Thursday and lasting into the weekend. However, the warmer temperatures will be accompanied with consistent chances of rain in the forecast for the duration of the weekend.
