Three Rivers Festival Cancelled For 2020 Due To COVID-19 Concerns
Thursday, May 14, 2020

Perhaps the biggest gathering of people within Northeast Indiana is officially cancelled for 2020, but will return in 2021 due to concerns over COVID-19.

The 52nd Annual Three Rivers Festival, originally set to start on July 10th through 18th, has been called off for the year in an announcement from the festival's Board of Directors that came out Thursday morning.

The event is the second-largest in the state and routinely draws hundreds of thousands of people to Fort Wayne every summer. Festival officials say after speaking with the County Board of Health and City officials, it would be too difficult to enforce social distancing and other CDC guidelines.
