BUTLER, IN — Officials at Eastside High School have named their top two academic students of the Class of 2020.

Earning the highest honor is Kelsey Treesh, who is valedictorian. She is joined by Ziayra Hulbert, who was named as salutatorian.

Treesh, plans to attend Purdue University Fort Wayne, majoring in biology. While a student at Eastside, she was involved in volleyball, student council and National Honor Society and was a track manager.

Hulbert, plans to attend Alma College in Michigan, pursuing a degree in pre physical therapy. As an Eastside Blazer Hulbert was involved in marching band, pep band, Interact, National Honor Society and bowling.

Eastside will hold a virtual graduation ceremony May 24.
