Steuben County Reports Two New COVID-19 Cases Monday

ANGOLA, IN - The Steuben County Health Department was notified of two (2) positive test results for Steuben County residents. the information was released from county health officials late Monday morning.

All patients are reportedly under the age of 60 years old.

Steuben County currently has 68 COVID-19 positive cases, 16 individuals considered recovered from COVID-19, and 2 deaths associated with COVID-19.

At this time, the county is no longer reporting the number of tested individuals.

The OptumServe COVID-19 testing is continuing at the Indiana National Guard Armory at (904 N Williams Street) in Angola. This location will be open from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm for appointment only.

Symptomatic individuals over the age of 12 years old or symptomatic healthcare workers, first responders, essential workers and/or are in a high risk category due to age, weight or underlying conditions qualify. A valid Indiana ID is required to be tested. Individuals must preregister for an appointment at 888-634-1116 or https://lhi.care/covidtesting. The website is the preferred method for scheduling.
