On Wednesday afternoon, at approximately 1:21 P.M. Walter Stumbo, age 40 of Auburn was traveling south in the 2800 block of County Road 27 In DeKalb County.

According to a report from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, Stumbo drove left of center, continued off the east side of the road and struck a mailbox; ejecting him from the motorcycle.

Stumbo told officers that he did not know what caused him to drive off the road. Stumbo was treated at the scene by Parkview DeKalb EMS, however no serious injuries were reported.

Waterloo Marshal’s Office and Waterloo Fire also assisted at the scene.
