If you have made a trip north or south along I-69 over the past several days, or seen any number of regional media outlets you have probably seen the SBC Digital Billboard in front of the complex. A message that was conveyed on the sign, sheds some light and hope for disgruntled Michiganders that have been stuck at home to come across the border to Indiana.
The billboard located on the northbound side of Interstate 69 just before the 80/90 toll road exchange read "The Great State of Indiana welcomes Michiganders to a Free-To-Roam State. We Thank You for the Revenue!" and has gained attention far and wide.
Media outlets far and wide have noticed the sign and message in which is not meant to harm, but to be a positive one encouraging Michigan residents to come across the border as Indiana's "Stay At Home" orders continue to ease, while Michigan's continue to be strict in several areas of the state.
All of this coinciding with Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer's new executive order which exend the state's "Stay At Home" orders until June 12th.
