On Sunday, DeKalb County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the scene of County Road 427 at County Road 34 where they found Thein Soe, age 50 of Waterloo who was traveling south on County Road 427 on his 2003 Honda Motorcycle near County Road 34 when another vehicle in front of him attempted to turn east.

Soe attempted to go pass the second driver, Brian Kelham, age 60 of Waterloo on the east side as Kelham was turning east causing Soe to hit Kelham’s vehicle on the front right side.

Soe was ejected from the motorcycle with Road rash to face, arms and leg and an open tib fib fracture to his right leg. Kelham was uninjured.

Soe was transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center from the scene, but further condition about him is unknown at this time.

The accident remains under investigation.
