ELKHART – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash that happened Wednesday morning.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says 53-year-old Barbara Proctor of Goshen was driving north on State Road 19 at 6:38 AM and was turning into the westbound ramp of U.S. 20. A second vehicle driven by 69-year-old Douglas Keown of Osceola was heading south on State Road 19.
Deputies say Proctor failed to yield the right of way to Keown and the front ends of their vehicle collided. Proctor was treated at the scene for chest pain. Keown was not injured. Proctor was given a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
