DEKALB, IN – Two cars were totaled in an accident that happened in DeKalb County Thursday evening.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, Marie Johnson, age 17 of Huntertown, was crossing the intersection of County Road 68 and 427 when she didn’t yield. As a result, her vehicle made contact with another vehicle, driven by Kristi Baker, age 51 of Leo.
Baker reportedly had the right of way.
Authorities say Johnson hit Baker’s passenger side, which totaled both cars.
Both drivers were released by EMS with no major injuries.
