ANGOLA - The annual sand sculpture competition and display is back again this weekend in Steuben County.
The Pokagon State Park main beach will play host to the annual event this Saturday, August 6th between 1 and 3 p.m.
For those entering the sand sculpture building contest, there are three age categories: age 4-9 years, 10-14 years and 15+/families.
In addition, a variety of sand sculpture artists will be creating pieces on the beach for everyone to view both Saturday and Sunday.
Area residents and visitors will have another chance to create and view sculptures Saturday, August 13 between 10 a.m. and noon at the Steuben County Park on Crooked Lake. The August 13th contest is sponsored by the park and SUP 101 Lakes. You must register by Aug. 9 by calling (260) 624-2878.
