By: Sheila McCrea - Tuesday, October 25, 2022

INDIANAPOLIS — Many counties in northeast Indiana have again headed to unemployment numbers that are in the range of the unheard of.

Data released by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development show several counties in the area were below 2%, which is much lower than the 5% that some experts consider full employment.

Steuben County was tied with Wells, Hamilton, and Daviess counties for the second lowest at 1.6%.

LaGrange County came in at 1.8%, while DeKalb was at 1.9%.

Noble County tied with the state’s rate at 2.2%.
