Another honor has been given to Parkview Health.
In a media release, Parkview Health officials announced they have once again been recognized by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) Digital Health Most Wired survey.
For the 2022 survey, Parkview was certified at level 10, the highest possible level, in both the acute and ambulatory care categories. This is the ninth consecutive year the health system has been named among the country’s Most Wired healthcare organizations.
The Digital Health Most Wired survey and recognition program serves as a comprehensive “Digital Health Check-up” for healthcare organizations across the world. As success in digital health increasingly determines the quality of patient care, the scope of the CHIME Digital Health Most Wired survey reflects the progress of leading healthcare providers as they reinvent healthcare for a new century.
Among the more than 38,000 organizations surveyed by CHIME, Parkview Health ranked above its peers in categories like analytics and data management, population health, infrastructure and patient engagement. The survey assessed the adoption, integration and impact of technologies in healthcare organizations at all stages of development.
Since the 1960’s, when Parkview Memorial Hospital implemented its first computer systems, Parkview has been committed to using technology to support improved patient outcomes, Ron Double, Parkview Health’s Chief Information Officer. says CHIME and the Most Wanted program help the hospital, as healthcare technology leaders, to evaluate their performance and continually strive to improve quality, engagement and satisfaction with Parkview’s patients, providers, clinicians, coworkers, partners and the community.
Double says this is worthwhile work that is transforming healthcare and saving lives.
