QUINCY, MI – A woman was injured when she was struck by a vehicle.
Michigan State Police say a woman was walking in downtown Quincy Thursday at 4:40 PM and had the right of way in the crosswalk, but was struck by a vehicle.
The female driver hit the pedestrian as she was turning left and she says she never saw the woman walking.
The pedestrian was taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital to be treated for injuries to her legs.
The driver was given a ticket for failure to yield.
Assisting Michigan State Police were the Quincy Fire Department, the Branch County Sheriff’s Department and Life Care Ambulance.
