STRYKER, OHIO — A Williams County man was struck by two cars on Thursday, August 17 and killed while walking in the roadway.
In Springfield Township at 10:29 p.m. 20-year-old Taylor-Edward Salaplo Barber of Stryker was struck by 21-year-old Wyatt Short of of Stryker while walking on State Route 2 northbound near milepost 12.
Barber was then struck a second time by 24-year-old Devin Wendorf of Montpelier, Ohio, who was traveling northbound on Route 2.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol pronounced Barber dead at the scene.
Both drivers were uninjured.
The crash remains under investigation.
Ohio State Troopers are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact the highway patrol at 419-784-0063.
