ANGOLA - An Angola native has announced filing for the Democratic nomination for Indiana District 3 in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Steuben County resident, educator, and global consultant Kiley Adolph, motivated by her desire to empower, filed for the nomination to represent Indiana District 3 in the U.S. House of Representatives next fall.
She is running on the Democratic ballot
Adolph, 41, grew up in Angola, where she attended public schools before earning her BA in Business Administration at Trine University. She went on to achieve a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California, and a Global Executive Doctor of Education degree from University of Southern California.
She also received an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University and completed a Leadership Program at University of Oxford. Kiley has worked and taught across the U.S. and abroad.
Adolph credits her desire to 'empower the people' of the 3rd District as her motivation to run for Congress. Her mission is to ensure that opportunities exist for the children of NE Indiana to grow up and remain here, in the place they call home.
She is dedicated to solving what she calls the 3rd District Crisis of Care, where too many seniors lack access to quality health and assisted care; parents lack quality affordable childcare; and women are at the bottom of the nation's rankings for equitable employment and reproductive care.
Adolph believes that successful solutions to 3rd District challenges will only be achieved by electing representatives who fight to empower people, not their political parties.
The Kiley for Congress campaign is excited to meet and talk to people about what matters most to them, particularly 1) building a stronger economy that works for everyone 2) providing the types of care that are vital to everyone 3) expanding equal rights for women and 4) improving educational opportunities through access to trade schools, colleges and innovative programs that will fulfill the promise of a living wage.
The people in the 3rd district deserve a representative who is focused on progress instead of power.
Kiley Adolph will be that representative.
