MATTESON TOWNSHIP – A man received injuries when his motorcycle struck a deer north of Bronson.
According to the Branch County Sheriff’s Office says 20 year old Skylar Hoard was heading north on North Matteson Lake Road just north of Kinter Road at 6:15 AM Monday when a deer ran out in front of him. Hoard hit the deer and received several, non life threatening injuries.
Hoard was initially treated at the scene and then taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital for receive further treatment.
Assisting at the scene were the Bronson Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance.
