ANGOLA, IN - As part of the week long celebration leading up to the unveiling of the Sojourner Truth statue at the Steuben County Courthouse, the Sojourner Truth Exhibit opens at the newly opened Pleasant Lake History Museum.
Truth was believed to have spent a significant amount of time in Pleasant Lake. The exhibit will be open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The Downtown Angola Coalition’s ceremony to unveil a life-size statue of Sojourner Truth will take place on Sunday, June 6, at 2 p.m. at the Steuben County Courthouse on the Public Square in downtown Angola.
