LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP - The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department is investigating a stolen vehicle from Lockport Township.

Deputies were called to the 17,000 block of Apache Trail where a blue 2012 Ford Escape was taken sometime between 1:30 and 3:30 AM on Friday. The vehicle has a peace sign sticker in the right side back window and a Georgia Peach sticker in the left side back window.

Investigators are attempting to identify possible suspects that were observed walking in the Tamarac Lane area earlier that night. Deputies received information that the suspects had gone through other vehicles in the area, looking for items to steal.
