Suspect Arrested Within 20 Minutes After Kendallville Bank Robbery

KENDALLVILLE, IN — A Kendallville bank was held up Monday afternoon.

Kendallville Police were called to the 3Rivers Federal Credit Union, located at 551 West North Street, on a reported bank robbery around 2:30 p.m. Eye-witness accounts told authorities that a man fled the scene after threatening a teller and receiving cash from the bank.

A description of the vehicle was taken and a search my multiple agencies began.

Indiana State Police found the vehicle near the intersection of County Road 19 and State Road 6. The Noble County Prosecutors office says the allegations bank robber, identified as Lance Lombrana, age 41 of Fort Wayne, was taken into custody with out incident.

He was booked at the Noble County Jail on preliminary charges of Armed Robebry and is being held without bond until his initial hearing later this week.

Officials say there was roughly 20 minutes from the time the crime was reported until the suspect was taken into custody by police.

A 3Rivers FCU representative said that nobody was injured.
