Fire Destroys Barn Early Tuesday Morning

BRYAN, OH - A morning fire caused a destructive amount of damage to a barn in Williams County, Ohio.

The Bryan Fire Department responded to a large barn fire on County Road G near County Road 9 at 6:35 AM Tuesday morning.

After putting 50-thousand gallons of water on the fire and making the surrounding area safe, suppression efforts were ceased.

Smoke reportedly lingered in the area while the fire continued to smolder throughout the day Tuesday. Crews remained on scene to monitor the fire.

Assisting the Bryan Fire Department at the scene were fire fighting teams from Edgerton, Montpelier, Avlordton, Net Florence Township, Brady Township, Springfield Township, and Washington Township Fire Departments. The Bryan McDonalds provided food for fire crews as a donation.
