In area softball action from Thursday night, it was a big win for the Varsity Lady Panther's as they defeated Westview 5-2.

After trailing 0-2, the Panther scored 3 runs in the 6th inning and 2 runs in the 7th inning to take the win 5-2.

The Panther had 9 hits with doubles by Savana Phares, Kalli Aaron, Lillie Booher, and Chloe Riehl.

Kiana Allshouse and Trinity Pratt paired up in the circle with a combined 8 strike outs and no earned runs.

The Panthers will travel to Edon, Ohio Friday night with a 6:30pm start time.
