(ANGOLA) - Community advocates, health leaders and law enforcement partners will come together in Angola Saturday morning for a public event focused on supporting survivors of sexual assault and connecting families with local resources.
The "Together We Act, United We Change" Sexual Assault Awareness Event runs from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, April 18, at the Selman Timber Frame Pavilion.
Organizers say the event will feature informational booths, guest speakers, local support connections and a survivor supply drive.
Community members are encouraged to bring donations for TLC House Indiana, including toiletry items, paper products and laundry detergent, to support the women and children the organization serves.
The event is being supported by TLC House Indiana, the Angola Police Department and Cameron Health.
