The 19th annual Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates Japanese culture with traditional and contemporary performing arts, crafts and activities for kids, Marketplace merchants, Taste of Japan food vendors and their popular Anime drawing, Haiku composition and Cosplay contests. The festival takes place on Sunday, May 17th - 12pm to 6pm at Walb Student Union Bldg, PFW (inside) with stage line-ups in International and Classic ballrooms (seating provided), as well as many activities, the Japanese-centric Marketplace and on-site contest participation. Taste of Japan vendors and a few activities are outside in the Courtyard.
It's recommended attendees bring cash as many merchants and vendors prefer it over debit/credit cards. There will be ATMs available, but it's best to arrive with cash if planning to shop or eat.
