The effects of the COVID-19 shut down can be seen far and wide, and its no different in LaGrange County where the last car dealership representing a major manufacturer has been forced to close its doors.
Effective May 21st, LaGrange Country Dodge, located just off State Route 9 on the north edge of LaGrange, has closed for good.
The dealership typically carried a large collection of used cars and trucks on a gravel lot just south of the dealership have all since been removed off the lot several weeks ago. In fact, only a handful of new cars and trucks remain on the lot.
The dealership's sign at the entrance to the property also has been removed.
The company’s website also has been taken down, and its phones are no longer in operation.
