Amid the various stay at home orders and lock downs that residents across the tri-state region have seen over the past several months, Steuben County YMCA has an event coming up that will let the youth of the area get to use that bottled up energy as the 2nd Annual Outdoor Youth Triathlon will take center stage on Saturday, August 8th.
Sara Weilein from the Steuben County YMCA points on that this is event for all ages.
Categories for competition are broken down into four different age brackets including "Rookie (Ages 8 & under), Youth (Ages 9 to 12), Teen (Ages 13 to 18), and Elite (Ages 18 and under wanting a challenge) and all featur events in swimming, biking, and running.
Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in each division, and all participants will receive a medal for completing the event.

Those who do plan on participating need to register prior to July 20th to receive the commemorative race day t-shirt.
