UNDATED – Two men were injured in a one vehicle accident over the weekend.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says 36 year old Joshuia Bursey of LaOtto was driving west on U.S. 6 west of the intersection of County Road 133 at 4:17 PM Saturday when because of a mechanical malfunction, his vehicle went off the south side of the road.
Bursey suffered a head trauma and refused medical treatment at the scene. His passenger, 36 year old Shawn Restrepo of LaOtto, had a head injury and was taken to Goshen Hospital.
Bursey was given citations for not wearing a seat belt, driving while suspended and driving left of center.
