ANGOLA, IN – Thrill-seekers can brave the cold and take on a family-friendly adventure as Pokagon State Park’s Toboggan Run is officially open for the 2022 season.
Pokagon’s Toboggan Run welcomes roughly 90,000 riders every season.
The season kicked off this weekend with mostly mild weather conditions. The refrigerated ride takes you on a quarter-mile drop that lasts 20 to 30 seconds.
The top recorded speed is 42 mph.
Although it is fun when there is snow on the ground, the REFRIGERATED part means that this thrill ride is available even when the ground is NOT white.
The toboggan ride operates through new year until February 26th (2023).
For hours, fees and guidelines cost Pokagon’s website through the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
