A break in the unsettled weather occurs today and Thursday, but a cold front moving through Wednesday increases wind gusts along with chances for rain and times of snow.
The National Weather Service says another system arrives Friday and Saturday with a threat for rain and thunder on Friday and snow mixing in on Saturday.
Winds will also be gusty on Friday and Saturday.
Forecasters say the severe thunderstorm threat is uncertain with a wide range of solutions for storm ingredients, location, and timing.
