According to the National Weather Service the weather will make a fierce turn on Friday.
While there will likely be times of showers and storms during the day Friday, the threat for severe weather is expected to start later Friday evening.
The greatest threat from these storms is expected to be damaging winds, although a tornado or two and hail cannot be ruled out.
