ANGOLA - An Angola man was arrested on multiple child molesting charges.
Tracy L. Payton, 56, of Angola was arrested on Wednesday in the 5000 block of N. C.R. 200 E. by the Steuben County Sheriff's Department.
Payton was arrested on three counts of Child Molesting, fondling, all level 4 felonies.
The investigating into Payton began in November of 2022 when Steuben County Detectives were contacted by the Indiana Department of Children's Services Investigator Linker regarding the alleged sexual offense.
The alleged abuse was noted in the probable cause affidavit to have began in May of 2019.
