LAGRANGE – The LaGrange County Council approved a funding request for road projects.
Monday morning, County Highway Department Engineer Tharon Morgan presented a request for funding on some projects set for the Spring and Summer of 2024.
The additional appropriation is $393,629.50. All total, the projects would be done at a cost of $4.88 million.
Morgan explains why the bridge work is now being included in the projects.
The money for the additional work would come from the County’s EDIT Taxes Fund.
The Council voted unanimously to approve the request.
