MONGO – A LaGrange man is facing multiple charges following an incident in Mongo.
Chief Deputy Juan Arroyo of the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were sent just after 10:30 AM Thursday to investigate a report of domestic battery at a home located at 3195 North State Road 3.
Deputies arrived and were told the suspect fled from the home and ran to a local business. Employees notified Sheriff’s Deputies, who along with officers from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, responded to the business, and found the suspect, 28 year old Brandon Hoff, in a vehicle. Hoff got out of the auto and ran away.
Police say Hoff entered a house and then exited the residence and got away from officers. K-9 officers and a drone were deployed and a short time later, located Hoff.
He is charged with domestic battery, strangulation and resisting law enforcement resulting in injury.
