FREMONT - A fugitive out of Michigan was apprehended in downtown Fremont with pipe bomb attached to his motorcycle.
The Fremont Police Department told WLKI'S Beth Swary details regarding an alleged pipe bomb recovered downtown.
An alleged wanted fugitive out of Michigan was followed into Indiana by authorities for unrelated warrants out of Michigan.
The pursuit ended at the Eagles One Stop in Fremont.
At the gas station the suspects motorcycle had what appeared to be a pipe bomb fixed to it.
The suspect was quickly apprehended without incident.
No injuries were reported.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal EOD unit out of Fort Wayne alongside the fugitive task force and the Indiana State Police have taken over the investigation.
The area remains closed off to the public and all nearby businesses are currently closed.
No further information has been released by the Indiana State Police.
