ALGANSEE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Five people were injured after a Reading woman struck the back of an Amish buggy on Friday.
The Branch County Sheriff's office stated Jeanette Munson, 63, of Reading struck the back of the buggy at approximately 2:15 p.m. on South Ray Quincy Road near Campbell Road.
The Amish buggy had two male adults and two male juveniles all from Montgomery, Michigan.
All five individuals involved in the accident were injured in the crash.
Two of the occupants of the buggy were transported by Lifecare Ambulance to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
One of the juvenile victims from the buggy was air lifted to a hospital in Ann Arbor.
The accident still remains under investigation by the Branch County Sheriff's office.
