(LAGRANGE) – The 72nd annual LaGrange County 4-H Fair starts its week long run today.

This year’s theme is “Bucket Of Fun”.

While the LaGrange County 4-H Fair has rides and other events like all the fairs, 4-H Board member Tammy Kauffman says at the heart of the LaGrange County Fair, it’s still about the 4-H’ers. ...... {LISTEN}.

Currently, LaGrange County has approximately 430 4-H members.

The Fair opens to the public at 12 PM. Today’s events include the butterfly garden; free activities in the Kidz Zone and the petting zoo.

At 12:30 PM there will be the Wheel Of Agriculture Game Show. At 1:15 PM the Royal Hanneford Circus/Thrill Show will take place under the Big Top Tent. At 2:15 the Pirates Of the Colombian Caribbean Aerial Thrill Show will start.

At 3 PM the farm stock tractor pull will take place in the Grandstand, and this is a free event.

There will be cowboy ethics at 4 PM on the Free Stage along with the horse and pony fun show at 5 PM in the Horse Arena. At 7 PM the IPL Tractor Pulling, Diesel Work Stock and Diesel Open Trucks will take place in the Grandstand. This is a free event, presented by the LaGrange County 4-H Fair Association and Jess Performance.

On Sunday the 4-H Queen Contest will take place on the Free Stage at 2 PM, along with multiple performances of the Royal Hanneford Circus and Thrill Show; and the Pirates Of The Colombian Caribbean Aerial Thrill Show.

The Fair Parade will start at 5 PM. The ice cream eating contest starts at 5:30 PM. At 6 PM will be the 4-H ATV Demonstration in the Grandstand; and at 8 PM is the Battle Of The Barns in the Grandstand.
