Coldwater softball tops Hastings in I-8 DH
(COLDWATER) – The host Coldwater softball team notched a pair of wins in the Interstate 8 as they beat Hastings 16-1 in 3 innings and 14-0 in 5 innings. Audi Bucklin got the win in game one, giving up 2 hits, 1 run and striking out 5. Mackenzie Searing was the winning pitcher in game two, throwing a no hitter with 4 strikeouts and a walk. Rylie VanAken hit two home runs for the Lady Cardinals and Bucklin had 4 RBI. Coldwater improves to 8-2 and 4-2 in the Interstate 8.
