(FORT WAYNE) - Nominations are still open for the 2026 Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly Forty Under 40 awards, with organizers extending the deadline to give the community more time to recognize rising local leaders. The program honors 40 professionals under the age of 40 who are making a noticeable impact in Northeast Indiana through their careers, community involvement, and leadership. Winners are selected by an independent panel of judges based on the quality of nominations, including professional accomplishments and civic engagement. The Forty Under 40 awards celebration is scheduled for April 9 at The Fairfield in Fort Wayne and will bring together business, nonprofit, and community leaders from across the region. Anyone can submit a nomination, including coworkers, employers, friends, or family members. Organizers encourage the public to nominate individuals who are helping shape the future of the Greater Fort Wayne area. Nominations must be submitted online by Monday, January 19th, 2026. In addition, past Forty Under 40 honorees are being asked to update their contact information ahead of the first-ever Forty Under 40 alumni reception, which will be held before the awards banquet in April. More information about nominations and the event is available on the Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly website.
