(FORT WAYNE) - More than 500 alpacas and top breeders from across the country are expected in Fort Wayne next month for one of the nation's premier alpaca events.
The Mazuri Alpaca Owners Association National Alpaca Show will take place March 13-15 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. The event will feature competitions judging animals on conformation and fiber quality, along with vendors, demonstrations and educational sessions.
Organizers say the show is free to attend, though parking fees apply. Attractions include a marketplace of alpaca products, fiber arts demonstrations and a popular alpaca costume contest
