(FORT WAYNE) - Pickle lovers will have a new reason to head downtown this summer.
"Pickle Palooza" is coming to Parkview Field on August 1, bringing a night of food, drinks and entertainment centered around all things pickled.
The event will run from 5 to 10 p.m. and is part of a multi-city tour, with Fort Wayne serving as one of four stops.
Organizers say the festival will feature a variety of pickle-inspired foods, flavored treats and specialty drinks.
Beyond the tastings, attendees can expect live entertainment, including Micro Mania professional wrestling, a concert featuring 90s hits, and a mechanical pickle ride.
Fans can sign up now through the event website for early access to tickets.
The event comes just weeks after another pickle-themed celebration in the area, with the St. Joe Pickle Festival set for July 16 through 18.
