(BRANCH COUNTY) - A months-long narcotics investigation ended with two arrests and a major methamphetamine seizure in Bronson Township.
The Branch County Sheriff's Office says deputies executed a search warrant March 27 at a home in the 900 block of Weaver Road.
A 52-year-old Bronson man and a 32-year-old Three Rivers woman were arrested on multiple felony narcotics charges.
During the search, deputies recovered more than 320 grams of crystal methamphetamine, along with items commonly associated with drug distribution.
Investigators also found psilocybin mushrooms inside the home.
The sheriff's office says the seizure reflects ongoing efforts by local and state law enforcement to combat illegal narcotics activity in the community.
Assisting agencies included the Michigan State Police K9 Unit, MSP SWET, the St. Joseph Valley Response Team, the Coldwater K9 Unit, VIP Towing and Branch County Central Dispatch.
All suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
