(FREMONT) - The Fremont Public Library is inviting local writers to take part in its first-ever Local Author Showcase.
The event is set for Saturday, June 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library, located at 1004 West Toledo Street in Fremont.
Library officials say the showcase is open to local and independent authors from Steuben County or those with ties to the area. The event is designed to connect writers with readers while giving authors a chance to share and promote their work.
Participants will also have the opportunity to network with other writers and sign and sell their books.
Anyone interested in taking part must submit an application by Saturday, May 30.
