(STEUBEN COUNTY) - The Steuben County Highway Department says multiple roadway maintenance and utility projects are planned this week across the county.
Officials say NIPSCO crews will relocate gas lines Monday through Thursday at County Road 100 North and County Road 200 West as part of the upcoming roundabout project.
Traffic in that area will be controlled by flaggers, and drivers should expect delays.
The highway department also says county crews will spend the week grading and adding gravel on several county-maintained roads.
Motorists are being asked to stay at least 500 feet behind county equipment during operations.
Roads scheduled for maintenance include:
- County Road 400 East between County Road 200 North and County Road 300 North
- County Road 15 North east of Old Road 1
- County Road 207 South east of County Road 800 East
- County Road 675 East between County Road 300 South and Metz Road
- County Road 800 East between County Road 700 South and County Road 650 South
- Johnson Lake Road between County Road 100 East and County Road 200 East
- Shaughniss Road east of County Road 275 East
- County Road 200 East between U.S. 20 and County Road 20 North
Drivers are asked to use caution and remain patient while traveling through work zones this week.
