(ALBION, MI) - Police are searching for two missing Albion teenagers who investigators believe may be armed and traveling together voluntarily.

WKZO reports 15-year-old Aiden Marion and 14-year-old Arriannah Goodman were reported missing by their families on Sunday.

The Albion Department of Public Safety says Marion allegedly took a loaded AR-15-style rifle and at least one full magazine from his home before leaving.

Investigators are also concerned about Goodman's welfare because she has an undisclosed medical condition that requires daily prescription medication.

Police say the pair appeared to prepare for an extended stay outdoors, taking food and camping gear while intentionally leaving their cell phones behind.

Because the teens do not have access to a vehicle, investigators believe they may be hitchhiking or may have accepted a ride from an unsuspecting motorist.

Based on information gathered during the investigation, authorities believe the pair may be headed to Indiana, Ohio or Virginia.

Drone searches of nearby wooded areas have not located the teenagers.

The Albion Department of Public Safety is urging the public not to approach the juveniles and to use extreme caution. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact Calhoun County dispatchers at 517-629-7854 or call 9-1-1.
