(QUINCY) - Our community remembers Jon Loveberry, founder of Loveberry Tree Farm, at this time of year. Born in 1939 in Quincy, Loveberry grew up as the youngest of six children and learned the value of hard work early while helping his family at the Quincy Ice Company. In 1970, he and his brother Jim launched their own venture, purchasing Warner Oil Company in Coldwater, a business that became a local staple. After retiring, Loveberry turned his attention to creating a place where families could gather, make memories, and celebrate old-fashioned Christmas traditions -- Loveberry Tree Farm grew from a dream that reflected his deep commitment to bringing joy to others.
