(ANGOLA) - Residents interested in supporting Pokagon State Park are invited to attend the next Friends of Pokagon meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 6, at 7 p.m.
The meeting will be held in the Nature Center Auditorium at Pokagon State Park and is open to anyone curious about getting involved or becoming a member of the volunteer-based friends group.
Organizers say the monthly gatherings provide an opportunity to learn more about the mission of the Friends of Pokagon, ask questions, and explore ways to support park programs, events, and preservation efforts.
Friends of Pokagon meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, and new faces are encouraged to attend.
