People Injured In Two Vehicle Crash

LAGRANGE TOWNSHIP – A two vehicle crash over the weekend injured several people.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office says at 12:35 PM Saturday, 32 year old Mary Eby of Cassopolis was driving west on Peavine Street in LaGrange Township, and failed to stop at the intersection of Dailey Road. Her vehicle struck an automobile driven by 30 year old Stephanie Robbertz of Westminster, Colorado, who was heading south on Dailey Road.

Both vehicles went off the roadway and down an embankment at the southwest corner of the intersection. Neither Robbertz or her passenger, her 30 year old husband Eric, were injured. Eby had her five children in her vehicle. The kids were all taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Everyone was wearing their seat belts and car seats at the time of the crash. Assisting at the Pokagon Tribal Police, the Dowagiac Police, the Cass Central Fire Department, Edwardsburg Ambulance and Pride Care Ambulance and the SMCAS Ambulance Service.
