Man Gets Four Years for Providing Drug in Overdose Death

A Defiance man was sentenced to four years in prison for providing drugs that caused a woman to die in an overdose. Court records indicate Daniel Oberlin, pled no contest to involuntary manslaughter.

Prosecutors say Oberlin gave the Defiance woman drugs in a 2016 incident. In another Defiance County case, Oberlin reportedly sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant, twice in 2018.
