ANGOLA, IN - Steuben County County has seven new reported cases of COVID-19 reported on Tuesday.
The Steuben County Health Department was notified of seven (7) positive COVID-19 test results for Steuben County residents. All patients are under the age of 60 years old.
County officials say they have been in communications with the patients and the Indiana State Department of Health epidemiologist to identify, notify and monitor any close contacts. No additional information about the patients will be released due to patient privacy laws.
Steuben County currently has 50 COVID-19 positive cases, 14 individuals considered recovered from COVID-19, and 1 death associated with COVID-19.
OptumServe COVID-19 testing will begin tomorrow at the Indiana National Guard Armory at 904 N Williams Street in Angola, IN 46703. This location will be open from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm for appointment only. Symptomatic individuals that are also healthcare workers, first responders, essential workers and/or are in a high risk category due to age, weight or underlying conditions qualify.
