MONGO, IN - The Mongo United Methodist Food Pantry will be open for distribution this Thursday, August 6th. Hours of operation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. that evening.
There is no paperwork needed to pick-up food. Those in need simply need to drive-up and pick up a food box and perishable bag.
Volunteers will be on hand to supervise and provide assistance if needed. If someone is ill please stay home and send a proxy in your place to pick up food. Sending a proxy is also a good alternative for seniors who may not want to be out in public.
The food pantry team will continue to practice 6 feet social distancing from others, and take precautions to keep everyone as safe as possible.
This weeks food boxes feature Chicken, Apples, Grapefruit, Corn on the Cob, Spaghetti Sauce, Eggs, Cereal, Pasta and more.
After this Thursday, the NextFood Pantry pick-up will be August 20th.
