ALBION – A Noble County man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison on a charge of child molestation.

Noble County Circuit Court officials say 39 year old Timothy Wicker was sentenced Monday. He was taken into custody in Floyd County, Kentucky on January 17, after being on the run for over three months. He was returned to Indiana and booked into the Noble County Jail on January 18.

According to Court officials, the crimes happened between March and July of 2017. The victim was under the age of 9 when the crimes were committed.

The girl testified during Wicker’s trial in October, saying she was abused almost every night. She said she never told anyone what happened to her until the summer of 2018 when she went to live with her father in Ohio.

After an investigation, Wicker was arrested and found guilty during a trial.
